In addition to engineering, geoscience, environmental, and information technology professions, the Gulf of Mexico Region utilizes the skills of numerous employees in technical positions such as offshore inspectors, technicians, regulatory assistants, visual information specialists, and operations assistants.  Other positions include program analysts and technical information specialists as well as administrative positions such as management analysts, administrative support assistants, secretaries, office automation clerks, and public information assistants.
