Every year the MMS recruitment teams take part in 12 or more “career days or forums” nationwide and recruit students for engineering internships (STEP and SCEP positions).  The program allows engineering students to become familiar with the mission and functions of the MMS Offshore program in the Gulf of Mexico Region and serves as an avenue for recruiting full-time engineering positions in the future. Petroleum, chemical, civil/structural, mechanical, and environmental engineering students may apply.
